V126A - Two Bedroom Apartment

Terrible location in a beautiful place. Look for something else. Positive: The food at the restaurant and the beach and Tita the parrot. Negative: 1.when we arrived, the person at the check out counter did not give us our key that was supposed to be in the package and we had to drive down to the reception as there is no phone to request one. You have to use your own phone to call a local number to get to the reception and for international travellers having a local line to call is not always possible. 2.There was no hand soap in the bathrooms and when I asked for it I was told they ran out. 3.The air conditioner was not working in one of the bedrooms 4. The porch door that lead out to the balcony did not lock which meant anyone could walk into our ground floor room at any time. They fixed the safety storm shutter on the porch door which one night fell halfway and got stuck, which meant, we could no go to the balcony. They did not fix the lock. 5.The free wifi is only in the reception and restaurant area and please note the reception area, which was atleast a 5 minute walk from the villa we were in, closes in the evening and the restaurant by 10:00. 6. the room was advertised as being much cheaper on the villa's own website for the same room, same deal and same time and I felt cheated to pay more . 7.Lastly, there were red ANTS every where. the kitchen was full of ants! they were all over the stove, counter and we did not leave any food outside. 8. the shower in the master bathroom was unusable as it would flood the little bathroom regardless of how we used it- as a shower or as a hand shower. I was highly dissappointed. 9.the picture of the church they use is not even on their porperty.
